BRUTE LABS - A Collective Dedicated to Action

On May 17, 2009, the BRUTE LABS and Well Done teams hosted Wine to Water, an incredible event at Medjool in San Francisco, and raised over $7,000. White Crane Winery sponsored the event and helped reach our goal of raising enough funds to provide a safe, clean water well to the villagers of Kamancheli, Ghana. projectOPEN Launched! - A homeless man with the guide.

projectOPEN has finally launched! Our team recently traveled to Santa Monica to distribute the projectOPEN homeless services resource guide. The project was conceived in 2005 to assist homeless populations throughout the US by providing a guide to meet four objectives:

To list and map organizations that specialize in services for the homeless.
To help locate free services available to all citizens, including the homeless.
To include a section on both personal rights and laws to encourage social education and following the law.
To be portable but also displayable as a poster to raise awareness about homelessness.
